[Ashitaka x fem! reader] Warnings: Blood and gore Y/N had been a part of the forest for as long as she could remember. She slept in the caves, sheltered from the storms, and planted trees where she could, seeking to repair the damage dealt by the humans. She and her sister were adopted by the wolf god Moro when their parents were found destroying the forest, and since then Y/N has dedicated her life to protecting her home. But when a human boy comes, claimed by a curse, Y/N starts to wonder about the world beyond the walls of the forest. And she starts to wonder if she truly hates humans as much as she originally thought. I do not own Princess Mononoke, all rights belong to the original creators. When Lord Asano's Samurai attack the Emishi Village, The Emishi abandon their town and head to Iron Town. All of them are hoping that they will be given refuge there, but they don't know that their old prince, Ashitaka, is living in Iron Town. Ashitaka x San, Platonic Ashitaka x OC (I'm sorry, but I'm now focusing on my other stories. However, I will release one last chapter for now. Until I pick up the Ghibli fandom again, I most likely won't update this.)

Iron town is being rebuilt and the forest is at war. San and Ashitaka are both doing their absolute best to make the forest and the people live in true harmony. Iron town continues to be threatened by the emperor who was not pleased when he didn't receive the forest spirit's head. To add, ever since the wolf god Moro's, death, things have been changing. There is a power struggle between the God of the forest and there's something changing in San.

She meets old friends, and makes new ones. She finds love when it was least expected, and makes many enemies. And to make matters worse, both Orochimaru and the Akatsuki wants her. Why do they want her? Is it the fact that she's very powerful or would they use her as a tool? Could it be that she's a cage for a curtain monster, or is Mononoke the cage? Shall we find out?

4 years have passed since the death of the Forest Spirit. After Iron Town was rebuilt 2 years after the Forest Spirit, Ashitaka left to the wilderness in search of San who was living peacefully among the Wolf Clan. Now there is a new member of the Wolf Clan... No wait, two more. Ashitaka and their daughter Yoki.

This is my first "x reader" book, some might be pretty bad. I will put up a request page.

And stumbling across a fallen angel helping the spirits and creatures of the forest fight against the humans who are trying to steal their land for personal gain. The alternate universe is, yes. A love story about two boys.
