When brothers Mario and Luigi end up with a big plumbing problem underneath their hometown in Brooklyn, they're suddenly sucked away and separated into a world beyond their wildest dreams. Mario ends up in the Mushroom Kingdom, a beloved kingdom ruled by the beautiful and frondeur Princess Peach. But when they find out that the monstrous reptile named Bowser has taken a Power Star, along with holding Luigi and one of the princess's noble knights, (Y/n), hostage, it's up to Mario, Princess Peach, and their small but loyal sidekick Toad, to team up with their allies, and rescue their friends before Bowser takes over the world.

Just a few weeks since the arrival of the new castle, Peach organizes a musical showcase for all of the kingdom to play in. Saiko enters her and the crew into the event as well, but when three new unexpected villains show up out of the blue, the gang enlist the help of Smg4 to stop them and win the showcase. The only problem left now is that Smg3 starts feeling useless with his role as a guardian. Like he's...the worst version of Four. As the title says, this is the second season of Launched in Space inspired by Super Mario Galaxy 2. This may be a short story, but let's see what happens. It's been two years since the galaxy has been saved from Bowser's clutches. Everyone on Earth and in space has adjusted to the new cycle of life. Mario and his friends on Earth are enjoying the peace in their planet without any further disturbances, and Ludwig and Rosalina have their family of Lumas expanded. In fact, they're just about to have an official wedding. Soon, they'll be King and Queen of the galaxy. However, their wedding was interrupted when a giant Bowser holding Princess Peach in one hand swoops another hand in and kidnaps Ludwig. Now Rosalina and Mario need to stop Bowser once again and save their special ones.

Until we get more information on the film, this description will be a temporary placeholder until we get the actual plot. Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles join Princess Peach and Toad, along with Shadow Sonic's friend named Surge, on an adventure in outer space to face off against Bowser's son named Bowser Jr along with an artificial intelligence named Sage that was abandoned by Eggman and a terrifying, mysterious, and dangerous jackal named Infinite.
