So, it's 1 am right now, and I'm bored. So I said to myself, "write a story that you haven't planned and still don't know the plot. Because that will be fun" so here I am! Be careful with love. The sun shines down onto Here School, a place once run by terrible teachers and abusing principals. Baldi, a new maths teacher, wants to change the bad reputation the school has, and he has to start with Trust, love, and a general awareness of how terrified the students are of him. It's a long and rough story for Baldi. There were many days he wanted to give up and quit, but his co-workers and friends helped him to push forward and better himself. When Baldi runs into a old friend, he fears that all his progress will be thrown down the drain. One thing's for certain, He's ready to fight for the students, and the school.

During the night, Baldi has a strange dream about cake that takes an unusual shape, and he can't for the life of him figure out what caused such a dream! Then during the day, he realizes that the students and other staff members of Here School are getting up to some very peculiar, indecipherable mischief indeed. He'll have to work overtime to solve these two complex equations- but how can anyone do math if they can't get any sleep?... --- Note from the author: I'm not very good at writing descriptions, so sorry about that. This story was originally published in the Phantom Chronicles, and it's been laying dormant for a little over a year now. I'd like to see if it can reach more members of the Baldi's Basics fandom, so I'm publishing it as a new story. I was very much inspired to write this by fanart from sentryworm and lemonsonaa on Tumblr where they drew Baldi being made of cake! (All pairings tagged below are very lowkey. Baldi was hired as a math teacher at a School, and that's where he met the love of his life, The Principal. They get in a relationship afew months later and they were pretty happy together, but when the Principal went inside Baldi's office that's where everything goes wrong.

[ after three years of literal hell, baldi had divorced his wife. it took a large toll on the man and everyone at school. he had to get his anger out somehow. that's how this whole 'smacking kids with rulers' thing started. baldi insisted they weren't true at all, but anyone who stayed for after-school tutoring said otherwise(if they remembered anyways). one day, however, a certain someone caught baldi in the act. From the start of his school, Baldi has been best friends with the Principal. Their relationship stays professional, for many years. They see each other so rarely nowadays, the way that the school has expanded, and they begin to drift apart more and more. The Principal's missing something, a certain piece of his heart he can't seem to find, but he can't tell what. That Is until 'it' comes. Their relationship is recovered, piece by piece, because of the wrath of West Winters.
