"well...can i at least have true love's kiss first?~" prince Roman Hamilton lives in a large castle, with a lush forest on the border and a small village near it. under his father, King Hamilton's care, the castle has been robbed from a specific burglar from the village, time and time again. the king instructs prince roman to get rid of the burglar when he is ruling. but what happens when roman falls in one-sided love with the burglar, Virgil Ravens?? but will Roman follow his father's strict expectations and get rid of virgil? or will he give in to his crush and betray the king, possibly getting kicked out??

Basically a high-school AU Every year Virgil's parents send him to a new school in a different state. This time it's Florida. He meets Roman and they immediately become friends, despite their differences. Then someone in a yellow t-shirt shows up all the way from Minnesota. Roman lives in a small town in Florida, he paints from the secrecy of his room. And despite all of the fun acting roles he gets in school plays, he finds life quite boring. That is until Virgil shows up. And then someone with green highlights (who also happens to be his brother) has to go and make it all confusing.

2510 words -------------------------------------------------------- When I open the front door, it's with little surprise that I find Virgil standing there with his hood covering most of his face. He's soaked from head to toe. "I lost my key again," he says, but that's just an excuse that he uses. What he's actually saying is 'I can't be at home right now'. Virgil is betrayed by his brothers and sisters and falls to Earth with broken wings. He's lost and all alone. Until he meets the nobel prince Roman. During his quest to find answers and a way home to warn the others, Roman shows him how to live on Earth in the meantime. Will Virgil find a way to get home? Will he stop the brothers that betrayed him? And more importantly: will he be able to keep Roman safe? "Do I need to call you sire too, now?" I lift a single eyebrow. "You? Nah." Roman waves that thought away. "You can call me your highness." He adds with a cheeky smirk. I stomp him softly. He can put that idea quickly out of his head.
