Sarah starkov has always been in the shadow of her older sister especially when alina is found to be grisha and is ripped from her by the darkling. after hearing her sister is now living in the little palace alone and probably terrified sarah heads to ketterdam to find the people accepting one million kruge for the sun summoner. for her sister. there she finds the crows and sets off on a wild journey that leads her to him. the privateer, the criminal, the prince.
