The relationship of a father with his son isn't always informal and friendly. Probably, because there's always an invisible wall between them, either due to generation gap or of hesitation or out of respect, but still it's there. And this wall doesn't allow the father-son duo to ever be the way a son is with his mother.
Samar Rathore never had known his father personally. Simply because his father, a serving officer of Indian Army, was hardly ever present him. With the lineage of Armed Forces Officers in his family, Samar decides to join the Indian Armed Forces, which doesn't only give him the sense of contentment, but also makes him see the unsaid pride, his father had in him!
