It's going to hurt, you are going to bleed, but you are never going to stop chasing your dreams. - This is the story of my journey in the Fire service, all of the writing is based on true events that have happened in the span of my servitude. - My name is Kendra, I started my journey in the summer of 2019, I had just turned twenty in mid-July. Thinking back, my decision was based on the fact that I wanted to dedicate my life to something bigger than myself. I always considered myself a tough girl, a bit of a tomboy but nonetheless a go-getter with a restless soul. When I was born, I had been brought into this world through C-section, and faced many challenges throughout my childhood.
