Dr. Lilian Russell met Malcolm Bright in the fall of 1998 at Trinity School shortly before his father's arrest. Now, twenty years later, Lily may be the only one able to save Malcolm from himself as she joins him working with the NYPD and discovering his past.

It seems to be a mostly normal day until a murder eventually leads to a series of killings, suspicion, distrust, & misfortune. Malcolm struggles with his past, Dani develops feelings, JT tries to get along with Malcolm, and among all the drama Gil still tries to look after his "family."

Lucifer Morningstar was on alert. Something was amiss in England. It all started with one letter. The conniving Devil just couldn't shy away. The incidents in England weren't just a coincidence either. Scotland Yard couldn't argue with the statistics of their consulting detective. Sherlock Holmes had to figure this out, it didn't help they brought in the FBI. This message addressed to him was the key to it all. Wasn't it? Though spontaneous and sly, the devil was indeed smart. Meeting two Americans who piqued his interest might become quite helpfully resourceful to him. Holmes having to be babysat in the backseat of his espionage was not pleased. But the letter his unlikely colleague received nerved him to much to complain. Also the fact his colleague seemed to envy the answers he was looking for too. Dogs see more what is believed to be there. This is especially true for hell hounds. His owner should have listened to the Angle and Devil by his shoulders. Was this all just a ploy? Just for the mastermind to get all he needed present? He could have kept it all civil, simple, and by the book or what is "normal" But none of them are by the book or "normal" are they? No. Somethings just need a push.

Teldaine, a young boy from a remote fishing village in a society ruled by priests who wield magic tied to oaths and the power of the human soul, is trapped. His parents, tired of toiling day-in and day-out merely to survive in a meager existence, have decided to devote themselves to the Calling of the sea. Their son, Teldaine, is not eager to throw his life away by becoming a near-mindless devotee to the sea goddess Calashtos, even if it means kinder catches and safer storms for his people. In a fit of rage at being mocked, he dumped a basket full of fish guts onto Relar Marlin - the ruling priest's son. The story opens with the aftermath of this prank as Teldaine 'Daine' runs away from his calling and, ultimately, towards his fate.

Normally working a case with the NYPD was simple, see the body, find out how the victim died, find the murderer. But when a case takes Malcolm and Dani undercover into his mother's world, Malcolm has to hope that he doesn't blow their cover. When a popular New York socialite couple is found murdered just before a big socialite event, Malcolm and Dani must go undercover as Jessica's newest socialite friends to a week-long socialite event to find the murderer before they try to kill any more socialites.

After a tough week, the team decides to relax with Karaoke. It's a songfic basically.

Malcolm and Ainsley's cousin Richard Miton is getting married and has invited Malcolm, Ainsley, Jessica and their plus-ones to the week-long wedding event. Please note that with the character of Birdie Milton and her relationship with the Whitlys, I am not following the show since canonically she doesn't seem to have a great relationship with them. The castle that is mentioned in this fanfic is Castle Gould/Hempstead House that is actually located in New York. I have never been as I have never been to New York but I did do some digging into what it looked like and where it was located before writing it into my story.

Copelan just wants to do something that she wants to do without her parents or the church's influence. What will she do when she hits a brick wall? Gabriel has come back to Waves with regret. Can everyone forgive him or will they turn on him like he turned on them years ago?
