Being alone, and being the only two Filipinos among other nationalities, they found comfort and joy being together. We expected President Johnson Frost's election to be a good thing. We hoped that he would at least be better than our last president, Rodney Stone. We didn't think it would be hard to be better than President Stone- he was, in short, awful. I'm not going to go into detail about him because he was just plain out stupid and lazy and did not do anything for our country. President Frost has only been in office for two days now, and there are rumors that he's already making drastic changes and new rules. Rumors say that he's abusing his power, and what he's doing is bad. He's interfering with the school systems. He's starting giant building projects. No one knows if the new laws he's making are even being passed legally. I didn't think they would affect me. I didn't think they would affect my family or anyone else I knew. Boy, was I wrong.
