A society clawing its way back from the brink, spearheaded by a magnanimous, yet questionable AI. Genetically modified and cybernetically enhanced creatures known simply as PGs capable of simultaneous violence and affection, created with technology now lost to codes of ethics and endowed with human-level intelligence. A mysterious third party waging war against the powers that be. Living databases, orbital lasers and rogue robots addicted to emotions. Amidst a mad world convinced of its own sanity, a researcher and a PG unit fight to reveal the secrets their systems withhold in the name of progress, and discover something far older- and more dangerous- than they could ever imagine. All text and illustrations are done by myself. No AI was- and ever will be- used in the making of this novel. This novel has been inspired by various science fiction novels, the furry species known as protogens and should be considered a new take on their origins, behavior and function and overall lore within a different universe.

Steve was the child of a rich family. His father was a criminal who got his income from ill-gotten gains. One day, his father had almost been caught in a bank heist, causing the authorities to be on the lookout for him. Because of this, the family was forced to flee to the city of Los Angeles. After a few months, a rogue FBI agent had tracked down the Foxes and raided their home. Steve's mother told him to escape and run as far away as possible. Despite him refusing to leave his family, he was ultimately forced to escape. The next day, Steve went back to his neighbourhood to find his parents' carcasses in his destroyed house after searching for 4 hours. This would cause him to be grief-stricken as he swore vengeance against the one who murdered his family.

Soon Nat is taken captive for a ransom, and we see how Travis would handle the situation. I want you to bear with me on this, as many people will tell you; I am new to writing. So be gentle with this book, if you would. No, this is most certainly not a true story but the main charachters are based off of real people. 'A New Experience' is a book about love, hate, and, of course new experiences. Nat will start out niave and gullible, but over time she will learn who she should trust and who to not. I hope my characters aren't too intolerable to you but I'll try and improve over time. Now please enjoy...
