New people come into her life, and she doesn't know how to take to it, at first. A mysterious Pokemon also makes its way into her life as well. What could it be? Will Emethyst be able to cope with the new changes in her life, or will she go back to Kanto? To speed things up, Ash's Rockruff has already evolved into Lycanroc, and Ash has also already caught Litten. What starts as a summer vacation in the tropical Alola region turns into the next exciting chapter in Ash Ketchum's quest to become a Pokémon Master! There's plenty for Ash and Pikachu to explore in this sunny new region, with exciting new Pokémon to discover and interesting people to learn from along the way-including the cool Professor Kukui and Samson Oak, the principal of the Pokémon School. Ash's new classmates will help guide his Alolan adventure: Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, Sophocles-and Lillie, who knows a lot about Pokémon but seems to be afraid to touch them. Frequent foes Team Rocket have also made the trip to Alola, looking to swipe some high-powered new Pokémon. But they have some competition on the villainy front: the ruffians of Team Skull!

Jodi is a pro trainer, having been at it for several years and very busy with helping Professor Birch out with researching or helping other regions that need help. She has seen many things and done things as well, but becoming Champion was never on her to-do list as a trainer. So when she comes home from a six month trip to Alola to help the regions home people, she didn't expect to come home and meet her sisters new friends.
