Henry Ledore x Reader Warning: the story contains massive spoilers from "Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask". An old Reader-Insert I have been wanting to update for many years. I originally intended to write it a single chapter, but I could never complete it. Reading over the draft I had saved back in 2015, I thought it would be too long for a one-shot, so I decided to develop the story following the narrative of the game. Please note that the illustrations are mine. Enjoy!

(Author's note: Probably mostly in this story is not going to be cannon to the character in the game.) It's lashing rain and you seem you're going nowhere and don't know how to go back.As you go deeper,you see a castle and the butler invites you.Which makes you meet a man who secretly has a monsterous smile.

For those who don't know professor Layton it was a game series and had a movie about puzzle delving and mystery solving and I honestly thought Layton could be attractive given if they gave him a little more of a realistic complexion. Anyway, you are professor Layton's substituting assistance as Luke(Layton's assistant shoes pretty young) has gone home to spend some time with his father. You worked with Layton a couple times and is a close friend, he has to take you on a adventure to figure out the murderer to a murder in a town called Barrytonville. While this investigation is going on and your doing the best you could to help him, things unrelated to the crime stirs up.

Professor Layton and Luke received a simple letter for them to travel to a small town of Glorybell and investigate its mysterious circumstances from a unknown person. Luke happily takes the letter to professor Layton. But when they get to Glorybell everything seemed fine,at first. When a orphan warns them to stay away from the large tree in the center of town. They try asking the town's folk but, no one seems to be giving any useful information the them. What did this unknown person want them to find here? What's this about a ghost haunting the town's folk? And why is the air awfully sweet here? Story is going to be in third person following The professor and Luke.

Katrielle takes a new case. A criminal that goes by the name 'The Matchmaker' is roaming the streets of london. Their main plan in their crimes is kidnapping innocent individuals and threatening to kill them if their supposed 'sweetheart' doesn't show up to rescue them. The case by itself is upsetting enough for Katrielle, considering people are actually dying, but when her assistant goes missing, she almost feels hopeless.

(**SLIGHT SPOILERS ABOUT THE CHARACTER IN THIS WORK** I wrote lyrics to Descole's theme from the Professor Layton video game series! I am rather proud of this work; I listened to the song repeatedly to get the syllables right. The lyrical part starts after the complex pipe organ part at the beginning. By the way, I pronounce Descole as "Des-co-LAY" not "Des-COLE". The pronunciation follows the rhyme scheme. I hope you guys enjoy it!) He's lost everything, and he won't get it back. But, he vows in whatever he does, to destroy those who had destroyed him. He is no longer the man he once knew himself to be. It wasn't supposed to be this way... He is Jean Descole. (The Professor Layton video game series, music, and cutscene still images all belong to Level-5 and Nintendo. I only created the lyrics, and I am thankful for the the awesome series they created, as well as the inspiration!)

Everything was fine and dandy for young Yugi Moto, but something went terribly wrong. After a duel with a shady figure, The Pharaoh (aka Yami Yugi) became isolated, he never came out of his puzzle, never gave advice, never showed any sign of life. Yugi was very worried and tried to communicate through the puzzle, yet nothing happened, it was as if the Pharaoh wasn't even there. Yugi knew something was wrong and had to find help. He searched far and wide for someone who could crack the case, only to find one single clue; The simple Labyrinth Puzzle that held the Pharaoh's soul room had been changed into a larger world of puzzles that were far too great for Yugi to solve alone. He called his friends and looked everywhere for help, only stopping the search when he found a news article, announcing Professor Layton was the new Puzzle Master. At that moment, Yugi knew he had to find the Professor before it was too late, but can he ever do it? NOTE: I DO NOT OWN YUGIOH NOR PROFESSOR LAYTON!
