Light, the false hero of this world, had failed the Leaders for the last time. After Soren's death and Cliff's infection by the Darkness, the whole Kingdom became weary and hostile towards Light, some even going as far as physically attacking him to keep him away. He was being seen as a bad omen and it was putting his, and others, lives in danger. It was then that the Leaders made a hard decision, asking Light to step down for the sake of everyone. Of course, Light didn't hesitate and was more than willing, but after the fact and a near death experience, several people disagreed with the Leader's decision, some of which including his two best friends and the man who helped raise him in this cruel world. (Yes, another RR Fanfic, because I'm in the mood!)

(This is now my first Ruined Reality fanfic, or maybe my second if the short story from my AU book counts) Everything seemed to be fine after the defeat of the first curse, until Light suddenly felt a sharp and unexplainable pain course through him. No one could find out why Light felt that pain, until Professor Red did a scan and discovered Light had been cursed and split into two. Now Professor Red, Light, Assistant Steve and Yellow Steve with a leather chest plate must go to another reality to find the missing half and fuse the two back together. But will they succeed or will they fail? Does the missing half even want to be reunited with Light and go back to his original universe?
