Every story starts somewhere. Michiko Hasegawa's passed the U.A. entrance exam fair and square. Loud, confident, and more dramatic than she has any right to be, Michiko joins Class 1-A without fanfare - just another aspiring hero in a school full of them. Elsewhere on campus, her sister, Akari Hasegawa, a young doctor working under Recovery Girl, keeps her head down. By day, she treats sprains and fractures. By night, she watches for signs of a coming storm. Just a few months ago, she was on covert missions alongside Tenko Shimura, Toya Todoroki, and Adira Archer to stop threats that the public still whispers about. Now, those threats are evolving. A group of villains calling themselves The Inheritance begins to move, led by the cold and methodical Kuzen Shigaraki. As the next generation begins their training, a new threat emerges - and old sins begin to bloom.

Shouto has created a habit of crashing at his place claiming it was closer to school when he moves out with his long term girlfriend who he is planning on proposing to soon. One thing led to another after a series of raids took place in various locations owned by Dr. Garaki. As a result, Touya and his girlfriend ended up taking custody of a small boy who was found in one of the lab's hellish conditions. They became parents to a 7-year-old child who was artificially created using their DNA without their consent. Despite the circumstances, they grew to love him as their own son.
