Not knowing what is it, the two take it back to a college lab, though what they thought was just red food coloring in a bottle turned out to be a whole worse thing.. How will they live on knowing something bigger is happening in their own town...

It's been months since the events in Philly and I've basically been cast aside. The Syntec Investigation Taskforce is all but dissolved and everyone thinks that now that we've stopped Tristan Rowe, everything is just peachy. I don't think so. There are still too many loose ends to be tied up. I'll keep pushing the others to reinstate me as a consultant and band together as SIT again. There's something on the horizon, waiting in the shadows. Others might dread to find out... not me. I have to know.

Right after the argument, Sam and Woods go to Syntec Location 3, hoping to gain more evidence and serum. When things go sour due to an unexpected guest, how will the team cope with what happened?

!!PREVIOUSLY-UNEXPECTED!! Olivia Taylor was just a fan of 863, until she woke up in a not so strange land. When she wakes up in California, she finds out that Deborah has brought her in to help with the project. But Olivia isn't so willing to follow orders, and decides to help, but searches for answers.
