"Valerie, I'm going to teach you how to live, how to live under the stars again." I was there for him before he took his last breath to death, when the beeping machine stopped beeping, when his heart stopped beating and the tears wouldn't stop falling down my cheeks. It was like everything came crumbling down like a domino that couldn't be stopped. And in a matter of seconds, my whole world fell apart knowing the one I love die of cancer. How can you even live knowing you won't be sharing the same stars as him, but instead looking up at him? He were like every single missing piece to my heart, and without the dark we'd never see the stars. So how do you live under the stars again?

⭐️ Discontinued ⭐️ Poetry ⭐️ Currently Being Edited "Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you chose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you." - Ralph M. I'm no poet, nor will I ever be but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to attempt poetry. In this book I'm going to try a few different styles, although I plan on mainly sticking to free verse. I'm going to use this book to display my ups and downs and hopefully have a little fun while doing it. *** All reads are appreciated! ❤️

[HIGHEST RANKING: #1 in Defenses] « Do you let the walls keep you out or do you bulldoze your way in? » ▪ ▪ ▪ In which a girl builds her walls too high and a boy, too free-spirited, discreetly tries to climb over. But there's a reason those bricks don't crumble down, and it isn't because she lived a life of sunshine and flowers.

"I love you..." he breathes out, his hazel eyes filled with relief. His back straightened, like as if a weight was lifted off his shoulders. Dark curls tickled my brow as he pressed his forehead against mine, his warm breath fanning against my lips. The warmth of his arms around my waist kept me rooted to the ground as the reality of his words came swinging my way. "Stop." "What?" Allen says, pulling back from me with a frown gracing his lips. "I said stop." "Stop what, Delia?" he raises his hands to my face, cupping both of my cheeks. "Stop with the 'I love you' stuff!" I say with exasperation, yanking his hands away from me. "I'm sorry if I'm coming off too strongly, but I want you to know how I feel!" he practically yells at me, his tone becoming defensive. I look into his eyes, guilty for the way I feel. I can't, I just can't say it. "It's of no use, though!" I snap, twisting my body away from him. I start to walk away, tears running down my cheeks. "And why is that!?" Allen yells, chasing after me. An olive hand of his reaches out and pulls me back to him. My heart stops at that, happy that he is finally angry. I was getting tired of this, I AM tired of this. I push him away from me again and turn back around. "Why!?" he yells. That sends me over the edge. "BECAUSE! I DON'T LOVE YOU!" ***** After a boy asked her, Delia Hayes, to a dance, she thought her life would be complete bliss. He showered her with compliments and gave her looks of absolute adoration. Little did she know, what she thought was far from correct. She eventually became this boy's, Allen Brady, girlfriend. Whenever he was around, she smiled and felt happy. But she never got butterflies at his touch, and his kisses didn't make her melt. Wasn't that supposed to happen whenever you were in love? Was she even in love in the first? She didn't know and she didn't understand what was happening to her.
