The UNSC Hail Mary is roughly a month out from entering Tau-Ceti's orbit when its main computer comes online and begins Crew Wake-Up protocol, a procedure meant to allow its crew members to become reacquainted with each other, their surroundings and most importantly, to rebuild their muscle memory and cognitive functions after having spent four plus years in medical comas. Only to find that instead of the three living crewmen it was supposed to be carrying, only one had managed to survive the journey. Because of this, the system unexpectedly suffers a glitch, realizing the need for human accompaniment and the danger of a single person going without one, and begins searching for a solution amongst its files. Ryland Grace knew three things at this current moment. Hopefully that would improve. One: he was on a spaceship. Two: he did not know why. Three: the woman in the medical bay where he had woken up was alive, and for reasons his brain could not provide, that mattered more than everything else. *** I usually don't post my work, but I just wanted to try it out. Terrible at writing descriptions.

She wasn't supposed to be here. At first, it's easy to believe it's nothing, just a strange coincidence that she's ended up in a world where Ryland Grace exists. He's just a person, just a teacher, just someone she wasn't meant to know, and definitely not someone she was meant to grow close to. But then the world starts to change. As impossible events begin to unfold, she realises this isn't just his world, it's his story. And she knows exactly where it's leading. She knows what's coming. She knows what he'll be asked to do. She knows what it will cost. And she can't tell him any of it. So instead, she stays. She stands beside him as everything slowly falls apart, offering quiet reassurance he doesn't quite understand, only a certainty she can never explain. "I just know."

Roped into Project Hail Mary to draw the scientists' findings throughout the project, she finds joy in creating art of something that'll save the world. ✩ ✩ ✩ When the original plan for the Hail Mary mission goes terribly wrong, the leader of the operation, Eva Stratt, has no choice but to send the next best people up into space on this one way trip to save the Earth. Of course they need a scientist up on the space craft, someone to analyse and make understanding of the crisis at hand. She also wants more than video logs and photographs of what goes on on the Hail Mary, sketch logs and detailed observations are highly valued when dealing with new scientific discoveries and materials. Till she's thrown into a rag tag group of superhero's and a lost scientist with a pet rock, her patience is tested and faith in the force becomes weary. or or During a boring day in the vast of space, the guardians rest and relax after their heavy work in the galaxy. Until they see worm holes spit out two unsuspecting victims and they become the safe haven for two very confused and very different people. With the addition of the multiverse in the back of their mind, they help the lost stragglers find their way home.
