To̅mi Andrei - better known as Plasmasonic - is invited to compete in the Skyspire Circuit, one of the most intense hoverboard racing events ever conceived, held on Skyripper Mountain. The invitation comes from her friend Lorelei Feathercloud, who suspects something deeply wrong with the racers selected for the competition. The racers aren't just ambitious - they're vicious, unstable, and driven by unexplained hostility, as if something is pushing them beyond ordinary rivalry, and it seems too normal. Behind the glittering spectacle stands the enigmatic tech magnate Elara Thistletwaite, the benefactor supplying the experimental hoverboard technology making the Circuit possible. Sequel to Breaking Butterfly. Cannot be read as a standalone. After the disappearance of the hero Butterflygirl, the other heroes of Silver City must step up to take her place. But taking the place of another hero isn't as easy as it seems. Meanwhile, Apollo's inside source gains a new ally, and comes closer than ever to taking down the Meta Alliance.

With the progression of human society and the emergence of an ever-growing number of metahumans, there is unrest building in the vampire world; the struggle to remain hidden and striking from the shadows when they need to feed is becoming an increasing hassle, which they do not fancy. The two factions of the vampire society see different prospects as solutions. The Drucules, who already loathe the human race, wish to launch a preemptive strike on the human race in an effort to reduce its population. The Alucadians, more tolerant of humans, wish to emerge from the shadows with knowledge that could steer humanity into a lulling peace that would allow vampires alternatives to violence to obtain sustenance. Despite this, there is infighting within the vampire society that would see a civil war come about, infighting that seems to be fueled by a saboteur if anyone would care to observe events for more than two seconds. Every living thing within a two-mile radius had been returned to their original form-- dust and shadows of the past, a mere memory that lives on in the minds of three. And I, I stood at the precipice above the village, spectating the burning with indifference as the cool night wind blew through my body and straight into my soul, stoking the flame of destruction within me. He had been right. I would eventually become a monster. ------------------------------------------------------------ The government was two feet away from the precipice called 'collapse'. The Geneticist- or, as the Fallen Heroes called him, the Big Boss- had defected, taking most of the powerful Heroes with him to effectively create a formidable army. Ignatius Kira is the Hero in charge of the last safe Prefecture in her nation. Alongside her side-kick and best friend, Sylph, the two take on the many piles of paperwork meant for an entire Hero Agency and the troubles of a Prefecture meant for more than two Heroes. However, when Tross, the former Guardian-gone-rogue of Ignatius's Prefecture, decides to pay the duo a visit, Ignatius is about to find out how much of an illusion her reality has been.

1) Ailey: She is the main character in this book. Most of it is from her perspective 2) Jitter: Ailey's crush and only friend for a while. He is very relaxed at times and is addicted to coffee. 3) Lucky: Ailey's friend after Jitter, and a close friend soon after 4) Leo: A new kid on the block. Finds out that he and Jitter are related. But he is also connected to Ryan. 5) Rachel: Kind of an outcast. Don't mess with her though, or you will be hit by a force field making you fly back. She's one of the most dangerous students in the whole school. 6) Ryan: Leo's brother who supposedly died years ago. He is connected to Rachel in a way and has history with a certain "old" agency that works with the US government.
