The Lost Cities are slowly falling apart under the threat of war, as the Black Swan and the Council fight to keep control. But the people of all species are scared and looking for answers, while the two organizations struggle to work together. The Neverseen have shown that they are capable of chaos, and many are concerned that the Council could fall should war occur. And others yet aren't even sure whether the Council is to be trusted anymore; the Elvin society has it's flaws, and those who have been affected by the Council's wrongdoings are drawn to the Neverseen's promises for change. Meanwhile, Keefe Sencen is fighting a different battle of control. He has fled to the Forbidden Cities in a desperate attempt to protect the people around him. His newfound ability is becoming stronger by the day, as he tries to understand why he was given these unique abilities while staying hidden and far away from where he can cause harm. But it's only a matter of time before the Neverseen come looking for him. Back in the crumbling Lost Cities, Sophie and the rest of her friends are still working with the Black Swan in an attempt to make an actual plan of attack; but having to help the Council at the same time is slowing them down. It is clear to see that should the Neverseen start a war, the Black Swan does not have an adequate plan to stop them. Sophie is growing more desperate by the day and starts to separate herself from the order, instead focusing on her own ideas. And in this long-lasting struggle for control, wasting too much time can be just as dangerous as taking off on your own. This story picks up right after the cliffhanger in Unlocked, and is my own continuation of the KOTLC series. There will be spoilers from all the books in the series, including 8.5, so proceed with caution. * STORY CURRENTLY DISCONTINUED * Was on hiatus for a while - will most likely be discontinued unless I ever decide to pick it up again, which is rare. Sorry! ~ This story is a different plot line based at the beginning of Stellarlune ~ Sophie had never felt quite as devastated since Keefe had left. She had been bedridden for most of the hours in a day, having barely enough willpower to get up and go to Foxfire. Some part of her felt like it was missing. The heartache was far too heavy. She ignored everyone and everything, numb to any emotion on the spectrum. Not that many of her friends necessarily wanted to speak to her after she executively decided to burn down the storehouse, which was simply a retaliation effort in a war that was already waging, and not the beginning of the war. Several of the non-irritated people present in her lives tended to be extremely worried around her, and tried to provide her with anything to cheer her up. But nothing worked. She was lost. She was useless. She couldn't do anything. She couldn't be the strong little moonlark everyone wanted her to be. She needed Keefe back. She needed to find him. She needed him soon. Before the numbness consumes her. - Sorta crappy introduction, I swear the writing will be better! - • Nothing mature will be happening in this story! It's clean for younger audiences, besides the possible occasional use of curse words! • ✨ This takes place at the beginning of Stellarlune right after Keefe left, following a separate plot line from the original one created, but keeping in some details to say true to the series. ✨ 💕 Hope you all enjoy! 💕

Begining a year after Unlocked and ending in the year 3000. Will the would burn, or will it be saved? Hello everyone! Welcome to my KOLTC story! This will be my own version of keeper of the lost cities! This will include my OC! This will be different from the original book series. Of course it will have some of the same events but will be drastically changed in some ways. Warning: Good and bad (I guess) This story will contain violence which will be around the same level of the books. Some of the violence will be well.. more violent. This story will also contain cursing. Not to much but it will contain crap, damn, the normal cuss words and the occasional fuck and shit. This story will also contain some different languages. It will be much later in the story. It will be translated to English of course. I haven't figured out which language to use but it will represent a new made up language which of course I made up. This story will also contain torture (obviously because of book one) and abuse I guess?? And maybe if you guys want, you can request a sex scene. I won't make one unless someone requests it. But wait till way later in the story please to request it. And yes some of the characters are minors so the age of consent will be I guess 16 in elven years. Idk how any of that works.
