"Where words fail to speak, It takes form of a writing, Writing, a struggle against silence, And its in poetry, It's the most beautiful thing that can ever happen." I never imagined that I could write so much until I found myself alone in my room with a pen in my hand and a blank sheet of paper in front of me. I never had any idea about my mind which stored so many thoughts that they tangled among themselves, waiting to be freed, waiting to get unraveled, waiting to be penned down on a paper. I am not a poet, I am just an ordinary girl, with a mind full of things I am unable to express in speech, Therefore I let my pen speak for me. I hope you will like this poetry compilation "Unraveled Thoughts" Thank you for reading, voting and commenting on the poems. I am really happy to have readers and supporters like you. About a year ago, Ada's life was ruined. She never wanted to live her American Dream, yet that's what she's forced to do due to her parents' decision to leave Scotland and move to Michigan, U.S. Starting a new life in the world of baseball, hamburgers, and cowboys, she is not overly thrilled to enjoy it. Her lack of enthusiasm quickly ends with regular visits to a therapist and a woeful depression. Everyone becomes her enemy - her parents, her brother, people in general. Throwing a boy down the stairs on her first day of school doesn't exactly help her situation. But things change when said boy sets himself a mission of redeeming this mysterious, red-headed girl. With his disheveled hair and glasses, Jed takes upon himself the task of making Ada smile. The only question is: will he be able to tug her up into the sky, or will she be the one to drag him down?

He glances at my wrists before pulling a few multicolored crayon-shaped Bandaids out of his pocket. I can't help but laugh hoarsely. "You just keep Bandaids in your pocket?" He looks around. A year after her best friend committed suicide without warning, Rosalie Hayes was still tumbling down a toxic downward spiral that, as far as anyone could tell, didn't seem to have a bottom. The simple girl she had once been was a mere memory, shredded to pieces and buried alongside her best friend, and in its place was a girl who took refuge in absolutely anything she could to distract herself from the gaping hole her best friend had left inside her and dull the pain that haunted her every move. Death came like a thief, stealing Rosalie's life and sending it up in flames before letting out her demons lurking inside. Until a boy with a reputation just as infamous and a track record to match takes interest in the silently broken girl. And together, the two might find that grief doesn't have to completely destroy you if you only have someone to share it with. TRIGGER WARNING: As stated above, this story does deal with suicide and grief. COVER CREDIT: @urharry

IN THE COUNTRY OF PREHALIA everybody has a place but the choice does not belong to us. We are born with nine lives and each one we lose indicates that we are to be pushed down the societal hierarchy until there's nowhere to go anymore... I, Keelian Samuels, also known as Keely, belong to the Samuels household which happens to be quite infamous for our money and insanity. I can't deny the perks that come with being a rich and popular teenager. I used to live for that image during my time in the school that collects all the richest kids from the city of Pretorium. Sounds like I'm pretty lucky to be who I am, right? Well, let me tell you a little secret: I died eight times in the past year. ---------------- Prehalia's Demons is a story about a young woman who has to take care of her family and avoid slipping on the thin ice that human relationships are in a society that is highly disfunctional and unfair. Where will her adventures take her? You will soon find out... ~ "Find yourself a better hobby than stalking me and my family. I heard chess is popular amongst rich people and freaks." I prop my head against the uncomfortable chair and look up at the ceiling, "How convenient that you're both." He decides to ignore the joke altogether as he goes and grabs another bottle of wine. I roll my eyes. It will be a long night. - HIGHEST RANK: #304 IN FANTASY
