I never thought I'd have to juggle my personal life with my vigilante life. Now that Oliver is the mayor of Starling City, I have to do just that. I never thought I'd find love either, or at least a shot at it. But when I met District Attorney Adrian Chase at my brother's mayoral office in Starling City, I didn't think I'd be able to handle love. I didn't think I'd be able to keep secrets, or train new recruits whilst handling a love life and a job. I didn't think I'd have to tell lies, or bear pain when everything turned on its head, forcing me to choose my allegiances, to choose between the man I loved or the team that had been like family to me. But people will do crazy things for love. Sometimes dangerous, scary or even downright detrimental. But that's my life now. That's the path my adventure as Evelyn Queen and Athena has to take.

It's up to supernatural detectives Hemingway and Larson to track down the blood suckers and bring them to justice in this short story! This work was originally done as part of a writing challenge created by Forest & Fawn Retreats. Since we are past judging, I can now share this work on social media. I have since edited it to change the pacing and am considering adding on to the story later down the line. But for now, enjoy!
