During the Long Night, Hunters and Glaives have not been getting along, arguing about which group was better in defending humanity from the daemons. Glaives have been taking many hunts/bounties from the Hunters since the Fall of Insomnia, creating this rift. This mission by Monica Elshett was set up to improve the relationship between the two groups of people to fight for the light. While on the mission, things start going wrong... Multiple cuts and bruises also dotted her skin. The girl could be heard sniffling lightly. "Prompto..." She muttered, frowning. "I-I..." The blonde responded, closing his eyes. "I'm sorry this happened to you. I vowed to protect you the best I can, you were like an innocent light in my dark world. I... love you." A kiss was planted on Prompto's forehead. One curious question that brings bittersweet memories of the past... Just a little one-shot I thought of while watching the 2nd episode of the anime Brotherhood.
