He has a painful left ankle, he is limping, he has a fever, he is tired, and he has a lump on his ankle. His parents take him to Cook Children's Hospital because Hot shot seems to be getting worse and didn't want to wait till next week with his new pediatrician. The doctors at the hospital do tests to find out why Hot shot is sick. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma a type of bone cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer head on. Hot shot makes friends with four other children his age with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and are going to fight their cancer together. They are determined to kick cancer's butt together! (Humanized)
