"Oh my gosh, Lizzums!" He said. I turned, looking at him. This can't be good. "It's a Feg!" He squealed. I closed my eyes, disappointed that this child could be the face of the future. "Why are you calling my prosthetic leg a 'Feg'?" I said with a straight face. "Because! It's a fake leg! Get it?" He said, spinning around in the office chair. I shook my head and smiled. "Ha! Made you smile!" He said. This sent me over the edge, and I started laughing. "You're so dumb!" I yelled, throwing my pillow at him. "Abuse!" He yelled, ducking under the bed. Lizabeth Simons had always been alone, ever since the accident at least. People looked and stared, always afraid to say something wrong. After Junior High her and her mother moved, giving Lizabeth a new shot at a somewhat normal school life. She always wore pants, never showing the metal. No one knew a thing, but still no one talked to her. Flash forward to junior year, Lizabeth is almost free. No one has found out, and that's how she plans to keep it. That is, until a boy of whom shes only seen and never heard watched her collapse onto the floor and helped her when no one else would. Lizabeth never realized that he would help her more then she ever thought. (Not my cover picture, story and plot are my creations)

Going through physical therapy she meets another girl who suffers from myasthenia gravis, which affects her voluntary muscle movements and causes her eyes lip to droop and sometimes she can not speak, eat or move some parts of her body. With her help and the boys help Amelia gets through therapy and makes it back to school proud of her prosthetic legs and doesn't care what the other people say about her disability.

When life breaks you, you pick up the pieces and move on.
