Proteus, a R'kai operative, must locate and protect the last, living survivor of a species known as the A'vi, in order to stop the impending war with the Va'ari. An impossible task but a necessary one. If he cannot find the A'vi, it may well be the end of everything. After all, the fate of the entire universe rests in the hands of a child. This is what I think would happen about a year after the two gentlemen of Verona, if it was set in 2022. If that sounds a little confusing, it's essentially just the characters in a more modern setting, but the events of Shakespeare's play still apply in their universe and effect their lives. Other stupid garbage story. It's a LampClaw story that shows when Proteus and Diesel 10 first met. Keep in mind, they are engines in this story, not people, and that's why they don't really interact the same way. I wanted to experiment writing a fan fiction about engines only to get out of my comfort zone of human mannerisms. I had this sitting around because it's cringe, stupid, and just plain dumb. Again, not my best work and I'm really thinking about rewriting some scenes, but oh well. I had to use vocabulary words again, and I tried my best to work with the words I was given at the time. This has the dumbest ending ever, and I didn't bother fixing it into a better one because it was 2am and I gave up. drunk.

What if the Creeper had talked Proteus down? A little au where Proteus/Rip doesn't fall off of a dam and die(yay!). Well they still fall off, oops spoilers, they just don't die.
