✔LATEST 2020 EDITION✔ ✳🌟🌟✳ ..If you can't be the perfect killer or the drunk sex addict, get ready to be opted out in a world of no mercy, where not even the most cleverest can survive but one of the tricky demi-god style. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A/N: Deep fantasy, assassin featured and Africa local Urban gods countenanced. Though it's really devastating to see a book end without a sequel (another volume), but sadly, this will be the only of it series. The only creditable news I can give you, is that the main character would be merged into another of my upcoming novel. A lot of African deities, that is high beings, would be featured. Such as Eledumare the God of gods and goddesses, sango the god of Thunder and fire, OYA the goddess of Storm and Waters, Egun the god of resurrection, Obatala the god of Ifa and the future seer, Ogun the god of iron, Olokun the goddess of healing, Esu the god of trickery and illusion and much more. Though, after brought into consideration by the crucial argument whether Esu was a god or just a messenger by some certain anonymous group of people, I would like to say in advance to prevent any future disagreement occurring that this is actually a fantasy novel and are of pure imaginations. AUTHOR'S WARNING!!! Dear Wattpadians, this warning goes mainly to those religious fanatics and extremists, who takes matters beyond the scope of sanity, to be conscious while reading that's this is a pure work of art and a brief inaccurate portray of the people's way of life. All fanaticism of verbal vandalism, especially in connection with religion, local traditions or politics should be avoided and directly reported to the author.

What I love about this proverb is its brutal honesty paired with pure optimism. It acknowledges that we often carry regret for the "lost years"-the investments we didn't make or the skills we didn't start learning a decade ago. It validates that feeling of being "behind." However, it immediately shifts the power back to you. It argues that while you can't change the past, the present moment is just as fertile. It's a call to action that strips away the excuse of "it's too late." Whether you're looking at personal growth or business ventures, it's a reminder that today's effort is the only way to ensure you aren't wishing you had started "20 years ago" when you look back 20 years from now. It's about agency over regret.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the wisest person that has ever lived? In the 21st century, wisdom often seems to be lacking! We look to all sorts of sources to find answers to life's problems and to generally navigate our way through life. God gave King Solomon the gift of wisdom and today we can be greatly blessed by what he, along with many other writers of the time recorded, as we take a walk through the book of Proverbs.

This is a collection of poems which actually conclude the meanings of proverbs. Somehow I never found it pleasing to hear somebody preach, 'Believe in Yourself' and whatever more but through these short poems,I want to express my perspective. They show a different perspective of life. Proverbs are good so I think, these poems are BETTER.

Gemini said The Proverb's Core Meaning The proverb-"The eye that seeks only the gold in the crown will eventually go blind to the thorns that hold it in place"-is a warning about the blindness of ambition. It highlights the psychological and spiritual price we pay when we focus exclusively on the "prize" while ignoring the "process" or the "pain." Key Themes Tunnel Vision: When you are dazzled by the "gold" (success, fame, or power), your perspective narrows. You stop seeing the risks, the ethical compromises, or the personal sacrifices you are making. The Inseparable Cost: In nature and in life, the most beautiful things often have a defense mechanism or a hidden burden. You cannot have the crown without the thorns; they are part of the same structure. The Irony of Success: The "blindness" mentioned is the most tragic part. By the time you achieve your goal, you may have lost the very perspective or "sight" needed to actually enjoy it. Practical Application Element Symbolic Meaning The Gold The external reward: money, titles, status, or the "win." The Crown The ultimate goal or the position of power one strives for. The Thorns The hidden reality: betrayal, physical toll, loss of self, and the sharp edge of responsibility. Going Blind The loss of one's moral compass or the inability to recognize the person you've become. The Takeaway: This proverb teaches us that true wisdom isn't just about reaching the top; it's about keeping your eyes open wide enough to see the cost of the climb. If you only look at the shine, you won't feel the sting until it's too late

From Oxford dictionaries: The proverb means - A short, well-known pithy saying, stating a general truth or piece of advice. This is the collections of different proverbs that I really love over the years from encountering, resonating and even applying it in my daily routine. I'll try to post also the possible meaning of it and I might give my own opinion too. ©annforever416™ 2017
