A supernatural spirit explores an unfamiliar world

I'm writing out of frustration. This is about how I feel about our world as it is. I'm not a student of politics, economics or ethics. I'm one of the lab-rats in an experiment that's gone horribly wrong. I'm writing this because I've had it with voting for the sake of voting. I've had it with a culture that celebrates fame for the sake of fame, and the pursuit of wealth over value. I've had it with voodoo economics and the corrupt and crumbling financial system. I've had it with the rise of the moronic masses, who continue to press their faces against the glass palaces of consumerism, whilst ignoring the starving and suffering in the name of democracy. And don't think I'm letting the extremists off the hook, either. Whether it's religious, moral or philosophical, extremism is where I fear we're headed. It's wrong, nobody's fixing it, and I fear that it's getting to the point where a systematic and seismic shock will be the only way to create a sustainable society. If my ranting makes you think, I'll consider that a positive outcome. Feedback and suggestions welcome!

Olive Knight is a dark horse. Seems innocent and sweet at first but deep down she's risqué and unpredictable but she doesn't show it easily. She lives in the unknown but keeps her image good to the eye. She moves to a new boarding school where she meets a boy, like they always do in the stories. but this is different... Hello and welcome to the first book in the I'm A Dead Man Walking Series: A Man Cut Into Slices. My name is Shane Wright and I have a story to share about a young man who's path vaguely resembles that of the authors own. Cillian Knight finds himself facing a murder charge after hitting and killing a man while driving drunk one night. The story follows a detailed description of what jail life is like for a guy who's never even got a speeding ticket, and a forbidden love starts to form when a sadistic guard decides to make Knight her new favorite pet. The wide scope of charterers act like sledgehammers breaking up the concrete schedule of a numbing and mundane jail life. A series of poems. I hope to inspire others who have gone through difficult times. Who have struggled with their mental health and have survived sexual and physical abuse. This series will also feature poems of introspection regarding class differences, struggles of family dynamics and love. Overall I hope to inspire, provoke and give strength through my writing.
