Eerie sightings and radio broadcasts and reports of flying saucers have the peoples of the town on edge. Even more unsettling, as the night begins to dim, an alien prowler is left on the loose. Townspeople begin to disappear as a mysterious fog surrounds the town, allowing no one to enter or exit. The Doctor and his friends arrive and are caught in the disturbing events taking place. With the arrival of hostile, sinister extraterrestrial life forms from the alien spacecraft, the town has been entirely concealed. As the prowler is left to stalk the inhabitants, the extraterrestrials commence their rigorous investigation. The separation of Ian and Barbara with the TARDIS mean that they will never have a chance to return home. Based on the original BBC sci-fi TV series originated by Sydney Wilson and Verity Lambert. Miles had been thinking a lot lately. He had been thinking about spider society. About Miguel. About earth 42 and his counterpart there. About Gwen. About all of his new friends, like Pav and Gayatri and Byte. But most of all he had been thinking about Hobie. Hobie and his stupid cockney accent that was sometimes so thick you couldn't understand what he was saying. Hobie and his stupid punk rock attitude that made him willing to do what was right no matter what it took. Hobie and his stupid wicks that fit impossibly under his spiked mask. Hobie and the way he was so effortlessly perfect. Hobie and how deeply he cared for all of his friend. Hobie and how cute it was when he got excited when he saw Pav or Gwen. He had hoped one day his mere presence would bring Hobie that much joy. Hobie and how adorably focused he would get when he tinkered with a goober or tuned his guitar. Wait... what was he saying? He didn't actually think all of those things about Hobie, did he?

Hobie Brown becomes the Prowler because he hates seeing people who can't defend themselves be picked on by those with power. Little does he know of what he's getting into when he unintentionally picks on the Kingpin of Crime, and he must learn what it truly means to be a hero in a world where Spider-Man won't be around forever. Set in a personal universe of mine, Earth 3118. If I like how this turns out, maybe I'll make more stories set in this world. This story is broken up into separate Acts with different Parts contained within them, with each Act being noted at the start of the chapter in which the Act begins, and the Part's beginning and end being noted in the chapter in which those things occur.
