Are we, mankind, bound to the confines of Earth? Or is there scope to colonise other planets?

First human to set foot on Mars finds life at microscopic level. He was very happy with it that life also existed here but then his eyes caught something strange. A broken part of statue and a chest near it which has a parchment rolled inside it.

It's the year 2030, 14 years after the world ended. 2.5 billion humans have migrated to the Earth-like planet, Proxima B. 25 trillion miles away from Earth, they said, only takes a couple of decades to get there, they said. The sun is far enough away for the planet to sustain water, the news said. Right before their parents were killed. Meet Celine, one of the many 2.5 billion humans that migrated to Proxima B, as they wonder why the world ended back on Earth and why everyone had to go to Proxima B. Except for Celine's parents.

Proxima B challenges Earth to a sporting event and not everybody on Earth is happy about competing against aliens. Now the gaseous visitors are being killed and it's up to Inspector Fenton Dash to get to the bottom of it.

Al, an alien disguised as a human astronaut, is sent on a mission in space to eliminate the humans coming to his planet. But what happens when he "befriends" an astronaut that he was supposed to kill? A story based on the game "Among Us" This is my original story. Please don't steal any parts of my book and call it your own. Copyright is a crime. Update: yikes, I reread this today. Proud to say that I improved in my writing (I hope). But I'm glad y'all enjoyed it:)
