This is a headcanon that I found and tweaked to my liking, as well as lengthening it to allow it to be its own story. I don't own any of the pictures or Hetalia.

For most people it is around the time they turn eighteen, for some it is a little longer. Matthew is one of the lucky ones who's timer is set to go off on the evening of his eighteenth birthday. His soulmate is not so lucky. It turns out that's the least of their problems, but that's alright. Gilbert will be there for Matthew, and Matthew will be there for Gilbert, however long it takes for them to overcome their problems. [Two shot]
