Little did he know of the events that were yet to come.

Spyro, a special purple dragon that's born only once every 10 generations is unable to fly and can't seem to master any breath outside of fire. Spyro is eager to travel the world, but his guardian, Ignitus does not believe that he is ready to face the dangers that lurk the outside world. He is forced to stay at the temple and he begins to wonder if he's even a special dragon at all.

In this AU of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Marcassin and Swaine (Gascon)'s stories are switched in a twist of fate. What happens when Marcassin is the runaway theif, and Gascon the emperor of Hamelin? Note: In this AU, Gascon is a Great Sage, not Marcassin. Also, they both still lose the same piece of heart they normally do.

So what happens when the Sorlin twins are sent from their home in Ariocra Academy out into the big bad world, separated, and put with their own personal mentors? A whirlwind of secrets, suspicion, capturings, romances, friendships, betrayals, threats, surprises, and a sprinkle of blood to top it all off.
