Have you ever picked up a phone, dial a number you know so well and at that moment the ringing starts you’re torn between two different things: the hoping that he’ll pick up and the dreading that he will. You see it’s a never ending cycle: I run, I hide, I crave, I run back right to you. And I die a little inside each time. But you see, you’re my lifeline – that sole connection I have to anything worth living.

This is a story I wrote while I was visiting my parents back home in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2008. We had no electricity at the time, so I came up with the story in my head to pass the time and the next morning once the power was back on I wrote it down on my mother's old laptop. This story is based on a character representing pseudo ME and my fantasy. Of course at that time I was about 22 years old experiencing the various effects of alcohol - the good, the bad and the Ugly. Aunt Vie was an escape, to find solace in my wrongdoings and imagine a future with alcohol, love, passion and happiness together. Looking back at this story, I do believe that Aunt Vie meant much to me than just an escape, she was the truth. It is not about being and promoting alcoholism, but it is representing so much more of what we do not know or see behind a person's being and existing in that moment. Are we true to ourselves? Where do you go and hide? Where or with whom do we find solace in? Nothing is as it seems and I have learnt that we have to give everyone and everything the benefit of the doubt as they and as we all have our own Happy Bottle that defines us!

Lexa is sick and tired of being under her mother's control. All the time she is learning. She can't go out with someone. She doesn't even have friends. So when the principal is telling her about a possibility for her to join the program of student exchange, she's grabbing this chance as much as she can. Clarke's life is perfect. Great friends, a beautiful house, money. But still, something in her life is missing. After the heartbreaking break-up with her former boyfriend, Finn, she's lost something, and she can't find it again. After Finn, she closed herself from everyone, even her best friends, Octavia and Raven, so she won't lose anything else from another heartbreak. When Lexa moves to Griffin's house everything changes. Clarke didn't need another problem to carry, especially some stranger in her house. And Lexa? She just tried to move away from her mother. She didn't want to be a problem. This is Clexa AU Fanfic. Lexa is the captain of the school basketball team. She is a bad girl. At least everyone thinks that. She can be gentle and cute, but only to someone special. Clarke is the nerd in her school. Unpopular, she prefers books to parties. But she is a friend to one of the most popular girls in her school, Octavia and Raven. Yet, she wasn't like that before. She used to be the life of the party. But after a break-up that broke her heart, she has lost herself. When the girls meet by the accident, they still don't know that this accident will change them in any possible way. This "Story" is a way to collect my ideas and serves as a filter to determine what will make it into the final draft and what remains just an unadapted idea. It also provides insight into my thought process and may even inspire others for their own projects... Maybe i even do Q&As?
