I was thirty years of age when my life met its sorry end once a simple married woman, my world shattered the moment I found my husband entangled in another's embrace. I died there, on the cold floor of the home we had built together, in a manner far more pitiful than I ever imagined for myself. And yet... I awaken. Breathing. Living. Reborn as the stepmother of a boy destined to become a villain- a child fated to meet the same miserable end as I once did. I failed once as a mother. So, what shall become of this second chance at motherhood? • Note: updates every Thursday Owner of the cover X\@irt_5433

Neel Agarwal was four years older than Aisha. Mature, composed, and terrifyingly calm. The topper. The disciplined one. The boy who believed emotions were distractions. Except when it came to her. Aisha Agarwal the clumsy, bright, over-smiling girl who walked into his life and turned it upside down. She trusted him blindly, fought with him like a child, and depended on him for everything... not knowing he loved her in a way he could never say out loud. For Aisha, Neel was safe. For Neel, Aisha was a weakness. But Aisha's heart beats for someone else. Shikhar. Her college classmate. Loud. Dominating. The "gunde-type" guy everyone feared but she loved. Protective in his own dangerous way. The kind of boy who fights first and thinks later. And Neel hated the way Shikhar held her hand so casually. Hated the way she smiled at him. Hated himself for not being enough. Neel is older. He knows better. He understands consequences. Shikhar doesn't. When possessiveness clashes with patience, when love fights ego, and when Aisha stands between two completely different worlds the calm storm and the raging fire who will she choose? The boy who silently built her dreams? Or the one who loudly claims her heart? A story about silent love, dangerous attraction, jealousy, and the painful truth that sometimes being the "right" person doesn't mean being the chosen one.

He removed her from his life with complete certainty. No anger. No hesitation. Just logic. He believed he understood people- what they meant, where they belonged, how much they mattered. He was wrong. She never asked for more. Never demanded to be seen. She only stayed. And somehow, that was what he failed to understand. This isn't a story about losing someone. It's about realizing- too late- that you never truly saw them at all.

The Revelation is the fifth and final novella in The Fractured Veil, a haunting psychological suspense series where memory rewrites itself, truth fractures, and survival means refusing to be tidy. Ash and Rae finally step through the boarding house door together, their fragile composite straining against the town's rules. Lina, the girl who was never born on paper, arrives with her mother's journal and her fading notebook - proof that witness can outlive records. Summoned before the Council, they face Mrs. Dunn, Harrow, and Officer Hough one last time. The verdict is clear: consolidate into one, or disappear. Rae confesses, Ash resists, Lina testifies - and for the first time, their words hold. Beneath the archives, Lina uncovers the town's true purpose: a hinge built to contain "redundancies," echoes of people written twice. But when witness, confession, and proof refuse to align, the town itself begins to collapse. In the final act, Ash, Rae, and Lina reject singularity. Their refusal shatters the veil, and for the first time, the world makes space for multiplicity. The ending is not clean. It is true. Fans of House of Leaves, Shutter Island, and Never Let Me Go will find their obsession complete in this unsettling and emotional conclusion to The Fractured Veil.

A boy named Luca is brought into this nightmare where he has deadly games he can die from. Other people are brought into it will him, each of them fighting to survive. TW: eating disorders, phobias, weapons, death, violence, and sexual harassment. Anyone younger might wanna read this but I suggest the audience being 13+, depending on if they can handle what's in the story. Overall this is a story I wrote because I came up with the idea and thought it could make a good story... It would be a comic, but I don't have much motivation to draw.

The Disappearance is the second novella in The Fractured Veil, a chilling psychological suspense series where memory is fragile, identity bends, and truth refuses to stay put. After fleeing the boarding house, Ash carries one fragile proof that Rae was real: a photograph. But the town insists Rae never existed. The café she worked in has no record of her. Her apartment is stripped bare. Even children vanish into erased records, leaving Ash desperate for witnesses who won't forget. As paranoia grows, Ash uncovers files marked Retired - names, faces, lives neatly crossed out. A sinister festival reveals Rae's face among masked strangers, while allies betray and enemies smile with pity. Every photograph fades, every note warns, and every reflection insists on a different truth. When the town declares, "You're chasing yourself," Ash must confront the possibility that Rae isn't missing at all - but part of them. Identity. Memory. Loss. Nothing disappears quietly here. Perfect for fans of Black Mirror, Behind Her Eyes, and The Silent Patient, The Disappearance is a claustrophobic dive into obsession and gaslighting, with a twist that will leave you questioning what survives after truth is gone.

I wrote the one chapter off of a writing prompt and I thought I'd share it, if enough people like it I'll write more.

COMPLETED Description: When 28-year-old Calla Wren returns to her childhood home in the decaying village of Wren Hollow after her mother's mysterious suicide, she begins to experience vivid hallucinations-shifting mirrors, whispers from empty rooms, and memories that don't seem to be her own. Diagnosed years ago with schizoaffective disorder, Calla is torn between her psychiatrist's warnings and the eerie signs that something supernatural may be happening in the house. Old journals, hidden rooms, and broken mirrors hint at a generational curse that affects all the women in her bloodline-one that distorts perception and slowly fractures the mind. As the hallucinations grow more violent and real, Calla begins to see a masked figure in the mirror reflections-always watching, sometimes mimicking her, and sometimes... moving independently.
