Well all that changed when Seth Carter moved back in town but he wasn't the same. "Nicole it's so nice of you to drop by it's been a while I can hardly recognize you" Mrs Carter said to me as she led me into their mansion "I just heard that you guys moved back and wanted to check on Seth it's been years" I said and couldn't help but notice the sad look on her face at the mention of her son's name "is everything okay Mrs Carter?" I asked worried that something had happened to Seth "Seth isn't home at the moment you can come back later or you'll see him in school" she said with a small smile which I returned "no problem I'll be on my way then" I said and made my way to the by door but nothing could have prepared for what I saw next The front door burst open and Seth came stumbling in looking like a lost puppy he held his keys in one hand and his jacket in the other, his pupils were dilated indicating that he was high and when he saw me he grinned and said "Nicole..." and I knew his return would turn my life upside down. I am taking this opportunity to put a flashback I commonly experience into words. I put a trigger warning on this for anyone who suffers from mental health issues, and struggles at the mention of: psychiatric wards, mental illness, anorexia, depression, restraint etc. I am writing this in an attempt to recover from ptsd. I am in a much better place than I was in the story I am writing.

Scott Mills is 16 years of age when he gives up. Shortly after doing so, he is dragged off a bridge after attempting to jump to his death. Diagnosed with Clinical Depression and placed in an adolescent mental health unit, he is alone, and terrified. This is a story of second chances.

Daisy Coulson wasn't crazy. Her boyfriend called her crazy, her friends were genuinely concerned, and her parents cared about her enough to hand her over to Grant Psychiatric Ward. But the nice doctor thought she was perfectly sane. Lincoln Campbell used to have an alcohol problem. Once he got over it, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to help people - which lead him to Grant Psychiatric Ward and Daisy Coulson. If she was crazy, then he had to be insane. Neither had healthy pasts, and neither was ready for the other.
