Falls ja: Achtung in der Inhaltsangabe ist ein spolier worum es im Buch gehen wird. Falls nein: auch nicht schlimm. Man kann die Bücher unabhängig von einander lesen Inhaltsangabe: Andere Kinder treffen sich mit Freunden und wachsen beschützt auf. Nele kann nur davon träumen. Der Suizid ihrer mutter, ihr Vater der abhaut und sie nie kennenlernt, Pflegefamilien, Wohngruppen und Psychatrie Aufenthalte. Nele lebt mit einer bipolaren Störung zwischen extremen hoch und dem dunkelsten Tief. Bis aufeinmal Ari in ihr Leben kommt, die alles verändert.

Zur Geschichte: Die Hauptperson ist Charlotte. Als ihre Probleme beginnen ist sie erst 14 Jahre alt. Ihre Mutter hat sich erhängt, sie war Alkoholikerin und immer sehr verletzend gegenüber dem Vater und ihrer Tochter. Charly hasste ihre Mutter für diese verletzenden Dinge, die sie ihr angetan hat. "Aber warum war sie so zu mir?" fragte sich Charly oft, "Wieso hat sie mich gehasst?" Charly war zuvor schon ein trauriges Mädchen, aber nachdem ihre Mutter starb, verlor sie ihr ich.
