Life in small-town America is easy for Grim. He can drink, smoke and sleep all he wants. But when he finds out that the cozy industry (soul guiding) he's “worked” in for millenia has just been privatized by the Powers That Be, he has to find a new income before he leaves his life of “booze, sex and rock 'n roll.” To reverse his fortunes, the immortal psychopomp teams up with geriatric goddesses, a brain-dead cadaver salesman and online ghost-hunting experts to create and expand a growing start-up company. A downtown office is established. A few high school kids are hired to ferry some souls, and Grim never sets down the blunt.

Follow the character Fox as he finds himself in a series of noir-style fairytales (some more bleak than others). This is a collection I am currently working on and hope to publish someday. Some of the other stories I write take place in this world though aren't directly related to Fox himself; those are not listed here. Most of these are first or second drafts and are not quite complete yet. Comments and feedback are appreciated.

Dove and 1-18 are psychopomps, those who help guide and console newly departed souls so that they may become one with the living universe. But they themselves are not the perfect paragons of order, calm and rationality that they are programmed to seem like for the newly departed. Dove questions the meaning of helping the newly departed if some of them are seemingly undeserving of forgiveness. 1-8 questions what it truly means to be a psychopomp and guide for the dead if they are forbidden from helping the souls who could not be freed from their mortal attachments. Each of these psychopomps has their own questions and all the time in eternity to find their answers, guide the dead and wonder why the reaper's name means kindness. (First Draft, revisions to be made later)

The psychopathic psychopomp Azriel has returned to the world of Cier, and her addiction to souls drives her to slaughter more, whether they be innocents or her enemies... Meanwhile, in the aftermath of his conflict with wandering blacksmith Puppy, Comet must protect his charges, the Cosmic Family, from harm, a task made difficult by the destruction of their starship. Conflict arises when the two Duelists meet face to face, and Comet must defend his friends from the psychopathic murderer who wants their souls. This is a story set in the fictional world of Cier, a land where magic and technology both thrive, and powerful warriors called Duelists come into conflict with one another. This world is also the setting for the animated combat system Dojo Duels, from the Hyun's Dojo community. This is a duel created under the guidelines for a official duel in Hyun's Dojo, but is not considered official due to it being in the written format. Comet, the Cosmic Family, and all associated concepts are property of Frest (http://hyunsdojo.com/user.php?u=frest). This work is a collaboration with Frest, and parts written by him will be specifically labeled, as will the parts written by myself.
