UNSPOKEN is a Narrative-Led Instructional (NLI) fictional series published twice weekly under OraeSpeak and Dear Shaper. It follows Ọrọoluwa Adekunle. A twenty-four-year-old brilliant, contained and chronically silent woman in Lagos Nigeria. You come into her story from the day she is handed a promotion she did not ask for to her twenty-fifth birthday and more by which time she has become, through healing, faith, community and the hardest kind of work, a woman who uses her voice. The series teaches strategic communication and public speaking. Not through listicles or lectures but through the lived texture of one woman's transformation across every context of her life: the boardroom, the church, the family table, the friendship, the therapy session, the neighbourhood, the slow burn. Every episode is a story. The lesson lives inside the story. The reader excavates it themselves. This is the NLI model in practice. To be clear, she doesn't want to be famous... she wants to make someone famous. In Stella's public speaking class, she asks for volunteers. She wants to make someone famous. Ryker is a football player. To be precise, he's the best wide receiver for Penn State. He's kind of a big deal, but he has a bad reputation. He thinks that Stella could give him a squeaky clean image before he joins the NFL. Oliver is an up-and-coming musician. He's got the talent, but he needs help getting his name out there. He plays gigs downtown almost every night and people in town love him. He just needs his big break. With some help from her exuberant roommate, Lia, Stella ends up helping both Ryker and Oliver.

I just posted this today. Ever wondered how some people can really think fast and reply in the most smartest way? The good news is we know it's a skill. Like every other skill, this is learnable too. Everybody can pick up the art of it but the only difference it makes is can you do it effectively? Both at the same time. This is the real challenge.
