James Hill is an ordinary 20-something Yalie. While incredibly book smart, he has to work two jobs during the summer and maintain his Internet presence to earn enough money for surviving. Well-known in both online writing and video creation communities, his reputation has been somewhat tainted by various incidents - from his own arrogance to a messy set of affairs involving a pair of rivals named Augusta and Betty. Still, James has been getting by relatively well. Then Lacy comes in. Lacy has a crush on James. She is also everything he hates. She's spirited and eclectic and unfiltered. She wants to make it somewhere in content creation - whether that's in music or writing. And she won't change who she is at heart just to fit in with her publication mutuals. Thus, James seizes this opportunity to sabotage Lacy's prospects. But it won't be all fun and games... (While there are unreliable tabloid rumors about the identity of Olivia Rodrigo's Lacy, my story is not intended to replicate true events - be they those of her or me. My story is also only very loosely inspired by Taylor Swift's Folklore love triangle and the former, so do not expect a lot of similarities).

It's not a book yet, but it will be. That's in the works. For now we (Ron and I) are sharing everything we know about writing, publishing, and marketing books. Why spend so much time on this to help teens we don't know? Well, I knew I wanted to be a writer when I was 8, but I didn't have anyone to show me how. So I got sidetracked and became a journalist. Then when I rediscovered my passion for fiction, it was a tough road to learning and publishing. I don't want you to have to work so hard or wait to realize your dream of being published. In fact, at Teen Writers Publish! we like to say your writing career starts now! If you're writing stories, you're already a writer. And we believe one day you can make a living doing what you love. Why can't one day start now? I'll use these pages to pass on to you what we discuss on the show, some of our own writing tips, and my writer's journey to being a writer...interrupted. Oh, and I'm sure Ron will be adding his rise to publishing as well. You'll meet both of us there. And please leave your feedback after each show, and tell us what you want to learn! We start the week of July 6th, 2015. Hopefully that will be the week that your writing career begins!

Wattpad is a cultural artefact representing and changing current youth culture. This book is a self-reflexive attempt to unpack the social and cultural influence this artefact has on adolescents. In this study attempts will be made to describe some past developments of Wattpad and its current form in order to identify some of the relational and social influences relevant to the context of secondary education. By trying to integrate theoretical perspectives from readings about adolescent identity and diversity, it will attempt to draw out the implications this has for educators who see humans as Imago Dei. *This book has been written as a course requirement for a Grad Dip in Teaching Course run by Bethlehem Tertiary Institue.

In My Attic, my success story on Wattpad, will be published on 1 July 2020, YAY!! My publisher, Literary Wanderlust, has kindly allowed me to keep the first draft on Wattpad. So, you can still read the original story for free. But the reworked version is AMAZING. Okay, I'm biased, but it really is. Literary Wanderlust was nominated one of 10 top indie presses in the US. They care about "well-written stories" and, as a result, I have not only edited the story, but run a complete re-load. As of 1 July, the novel will be available on Amazon but, but, but - you can get a sneak preview - in exchange for an honest Goodreads reviews. And Bloggers are MOST welcome. If you could even buy the novel once it is available, and leave me an Amazon review you would make me even more happy... Would you like to know more what's going on? Well, just check out this story.

"And I hate that even if I tell you how much I love you, I won't be able to hear your answer." he continued, warm tears falling down his face as he gaze into her telling eyes. Cassy, unable to utter a word, bring her hand up shakily to wipe his tears. She reaches out a crumpled piece of paper to him, scribbled note barely visible--making out, "I lov u." -- Cassidy West, A 28-year-old writer, with hits of novels on top of her head sets a journey on her seven-year career as the youngest best-selling author. A young man, Ellis Clarke, who couldn't find his footing in life, as if the world deemed him the opposite, has been on the run for as long as he can remember. The two take different turns in life and eventually see each other halfway. They both find each other favorable as Ellis strides his path towards the publishing industry and Cassidy struggles to keep her pace with the limelight. And for Cassy, struggling meant losing the only source of passion she's ever had--for Ellis, it was watching Cassy losing her spark.

You want to publish your book. I did, too. It happened, and the more I learn, the more I realize having an English major doesn't prepare you to be a published author. Here's what they don't teach you in school about what it takes to survive in the publishing business. I can promise you one thing: If you want your book in print badly enough, you can make it happen if you don't give up. #140 in non-fiction 1/19/16 #236 in non-fiction 1/18/16 #371 in non-fiction 3/1/16 #281 in non-fiction 3/3/16 #150 in non-fiction 3/18/16 #67 in non-fiction 8/19/2016 #960 in non-fiction 1/28/2017 with 6.7K views
