The CEO of biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, and sustainable energy Mr. Devereaux passed away at 79, leaving his two sons, Angel and Henry. Angel was the result of an affair in Puerto Rico; now, 25 years later, they reunite. Their father's assistant, Mrs. Jackson, will be taking over the company until someone experienced steps in. To show their gratitude for Mrs. Jackson's dedication and loyalty to their late father and his company, they offered her a trip, but because she's the CEO temporarily, she gave it to her daughter Naomi instead. Angel, Henry, and Naomi all flew to France and had a great time, especially exploring caves. However, there was a problem: The caves were infected with bats, which bit Henry. They escaped that camped outside while Naomi attended to his bit, saying he needed a rabies shot. Later that night, Angel is attacked by a wolf. I believe the order of a poem doesn't change its importance. I believe a collection should follow the model of "Hopscotch" by Julio Cortázar. I believe a poem should be a surprise. I believe a poem should be lie an emotion-spontaneous and in-the-moment. The order of contents is enumerated and at the end of each poem shall be the poem's title.

This short and another one that was a collaboration between Stephanie Feliciano and me won the competition and got published in the book Atlas Centri: Sobre Pasados Conflictivos, a Puertorican steampunk book.
