A fanfiction story taking place in Philip Pullman's world. The story centers on young Aurora and her daemon Poniriá, who are faced with obstacles they need to overcome. At first, we learn that Aurora isn't happy with the settled form of her daemon companion, but she learns to appreciate him as the story unfolds. A written school project involving four authors.

Phillip Pullman broke our hearts ending "The Amber Spyglass" with the separation of newly found lovers Lyra and Will. It was said they would never meet again, never feel the blissful escape from reality with one another. So each year, on Midsummer's day, they would go to the Botanical Garden in their parallel world and sit on the bench they used to share, to mourn their loss. But what if they no longer have to mourn..... Lyra meanders into Will's world again, but the windows are closed. Dust has been used up, and the barriers between worlds are shattering. Not only do the daemons have to escape the Specters, and all of them must face an old enemy. Lyra may not be able to return to her world, and may have to spend the rest of her life in Will's, despite the danger. Will the two lovers spend their meager years together in happiness, or will they decide to have longer, lonely ones apart?
