Costumes and college parties hold no sway over Tara on Halloween, the only thing she wants is to get down to the local pumpkin patch to carve pumpkins with a special someone.

Mikey walks into Donnie's lab. Donnie had called him in, telling him he wanted to show him something new. He wasn't expecting anything except tech, but what he saw, was much past his expectations.

According to myth, Stingy Jack invited the Devil to have a drink with him. True to his name, Stingy Jack didn’t want to pay for his drink, so he convinced the Devil to turn himself into a coin that Jack could use to buy their drinks. Jack decided to keep the money and put it into his pocket next to a silver cross, which stopped the Devil from changing into his original form. Jack eventually freed the Devil, but only if he would not bother Jack for one year and that, should Jack die, he would not claim his soul. The next year, Jack again tricked the Devil into climbing into a tree to pick a piece of fruit. While he was up in the tree, Jack carved a sign of the cross into the tree’s bark so that the Devil could not come down until the Devil promised Jack not to bother him for ten more years. Soon after, Jack died. As the legend goes, God would not allow such an unsavory figure into heaven. The Devil, upset by the trick Jack had played on him he would not allow Jack into hell. He sent Jack off into the dark night with only a burning coal to light his way. Jack put the coal into a carved-out pumpkin and has been roaming the Earth with ever since.

you're sitting on the lawn in front john's old house and you're tired as hell. after the end of the game, you need a break. you look over to where you assume karkat is but he's not there, no one is. the scenery changes to an endless hallway with light at the end. you're alone but you see two things floating in front of you. which one do you grab? meat or candy? (dave and dirk povs)

Jack loves Halloween - everything about it. Once October comes round he gets right into the spirit of the holiday and the month, changing his attire and even tastes in order to be the man with the most spirit. But when he meets a black cat that can talk, things start to get real spooky. Real fast. Especially when he learns more about his lineage and who he really is.
