UPDATE: this is a novel that I was very excited to share with people at the time I started writing this, but recently, i've noticed that writing this felt more like a chore rather than enjoyable. So, i've decided to rewrite it, with different plots and characters. Im not sure when it'll be finished, but for the time being, you may read this :) Two souls, two different people, two broken hearts. Jude Williams and Maxine Lewis are inseparable, they've been friends ever since they were in the third grade. Jude was sweet and charming while Max's dark, mysterious personality contrasts. Their romantic feelings for each other seemed to win over the friendship, and they began to date. When Jude realized that she was a ball on Max's necklace, she backs away for the sake of her best friend's happiness, and because she was afraid of hurting her the way she'd been hurt before. Max had gone from lovesick to heartless overnight, wondering why Jude would ever do such a thing. In the story, "I still love you, I promise," the painful, heartwarming novel introduces the idea of how one's past leads to trauma and eventually compare themselves to more weight added on one's shoulders. It all started with a worldwide pandemic, a former dancing app called "TikTok" and some delusional girls using the hashtag "reality shifting". Little did I know that these delusional girls were not as delusional as many people thought to be and that this trend would change my life for good. So let me tell you a story about how my 16-year-old self travelled through time and space to accidentally end up falling into some stranger's arms after spilling her very dear iced coffee on his brand-new suit. And more importantly, let me introduce you to Nicholas Alexander Wilson. Hey everyone! I am a young and inexperienced author who has been thinking about this storyline and characters every day for the last 4 to 5 years. I decided to share them with the world since they saved me and helped me to get through everyday life. Maybe someone out there can relate to that and feel comforted after getting to know the characters chapter by chapter. I am still at the very beginning of my journey and have just started to write the first chapters, so stay posted for updates!! Furthermore, English is not my native language which is why there might appear some spelling mistakes from time to time. I would love you to correct me or give me your thoughts about my work or wishes that I might include in the novel. There is not much more to say except to enjoy this novel!
