Like all my other Cookie Run stories, Reader's name is (C/F) Cookie, which stands for (Cookie Flavor) Cookie. Since people really seemed to like my last one, here's this. Unlike Liar, this story is for me to try and write the darker aspects of Yanderes. Vanilla doesn't smell sweet when it reminds me of you...

When Shadow Milk Cookie arrives at the Vanilla Kingdom, wounded and with nowhere else to turn, he finds warmth, understanding, and a home he never thought he would have. In Pure Vanilla Cookie, he finds someone who sees him, protects him, and promises that he will never have to face pain alone again. But sometimes, the desire to protect someone can become something far more complicated. As their bond grows stronger, Shadow Milk begins to wonder where the line between love and control truly lies. Because the gentlest hands can also hold the tightest chains, and the safest place can become the hardest one to leave. (None of the art work is mine unless I say explicitly say so :) )

Beware! This is a mostly shadowvanilla story. The other beasts are planned to have several chapters to themselves but this mostly surrounds Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk ^_^ P.S this user is only at 13-6 of CRK and is working on Mystic Flour's and Burning Spice's stories so they might mischaracterize. Pure Vanilla Cookie and the other Ancient Heroes were preparing for war against Dark Enchantress Cookie. But one day, Pure Vanilla Cookie finds an old journal from a mysterious kingdom that had been hidden for many years. Curious about this kingdom and the legend of a possible sixth Ancient Hero, four for the Ancient Heroes travel to see if they'll find someone who could help them or a new enemy. However, they were unaware of what's to come.

This fic takes place after the ancients, timekeeper cookie, gingerbrave(and others) defeat Shadow Milk cookie and seperate the ultimate cookie and the other beasts from him. Shadow Milk is left confused and afraid, finally coming to terms with the fact that he'd probably never see the witches. In a moment of weakness, he decides to become Pure Vanilla cookie's friend and make an attempt to redeem himself. (Note: this is an au, some parts aren't going to align with the cannon version.)
