Upon landing on the planet of Keagonal she meets Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi. He finds her Force-Sensitivity and trains her. When Obi-wan must go to Tatooine to watch over Luke, Contu goes with him and finds out all sorts of stuff about her family. Including the fact that both of her parents are Sith Lords!
