The Rebellion against the Council was a long one, led by the five quartzes and their Crystal Gems. It led to Red, Green, Purple, Orange and Pink Diamond getting shattered. The shatterers? The quartzes. They had led this war against the Diamond Council's Pink Diamond in hopes of leaving the planet Earth alone. They succeeded of course, reducing the number of Diamonds. Black Diamond had hidden somewhere in her court, White Diamond and retreated into her mind while Blue was grieving and Yellow trying to fight off remaining rebels. Earth had been left in peace, the remaining Crystal gems fighting the corrupted gems from an attempt by the diamonds. Steven Universe belongs to Rebecca Sugar and Cartoon Network. But a lesson that May will come to learn, is that not everyone can stick around forever... later on she becomes a new diamond after the "demise" of pink diamond, but yellow and blue diamond aren't very fond of her and mostly just keep her around because it was pinks wish and they needed her help to run homeworld and they also need her healing powers (that all diamonds have, watch change your mind) to help with gem production. purple was a failed red diamond attempt made a million years before pink. the only thing purple was good at was throwing party's and she didn't have a colony. no mater how much the other diamonds told her to get a colony of her own she didn't care. Then pink was made and she got everything she wanted and when pink decided she wants even more attention and to be the one to throw party's instead of purple she framed purple for cracking her pearl. What will happen when steven, pink diamonds son finds purple after all the years she been locked up.
