    In a world full of uncertainty, Flora Lalke is a regular 23 year old getting used to the ropes of adult life. Still living with her parents and having just finished community college Flora is forced to move out. Her parents are proud, but do not want to have their daughter in there house any longer and want her to find her way in life. Flora herself is a bit lost as for what she wants to do with her life. Growing up while dreaming of finding true love and becoming rich seem so far now for her and she decides to put childish dreams away. Having a couple thousand dollars saved up from working and having a hundred dollar spending budget for each month, she is partially ready to find an apartment. What happens, though, when she finds a man passed out on the side of the road one day and decides to help him? Is he a homeless man or simply a drunk? Well Flora is in for a weird and awkward awakening when the man she helps turns out to be neither. "Where did my glasses go?" "You mean the purple ones?" "Hey! Give those back! Why do you have them? Who are you? Where the hell am I!?"

    Simon Pollucks thinks he's asexual. He's never had feelings for anyone, girl or boy. He's not exactly in the best emotional state either what with his mom's divorce and his first encounter with his birth parents. But for the sake of his adopted twin sisters and brother, he's managed to put on a fake smile, force a laugh, and pretend like he's fine, like nothing's wrong. Staying strong for the ones you love is important in times of need, is what he keeps telling himself. Running into the girl with the crooked purple glasses seems to have changed Simon's stubborn belief regarding his sexuality. This girl with her unruly appearance has Simon captivated. Her confusing statements and wild chocolate brown curls have Simon struggling to get her to reveal her name. He can't help but wonder whether this strange girl can help him just as she claims he is helping her. He wonders what he fears most accepting his new reality or himself?
