A prince story . A tale of two star crossed singers destined for greatness . The story begins in 1978 when prince debuted a girl in rural Alabama by the name of Angie ( short for angelaina) notices him on television. She had already took a few trips to Memphis to record she was about to release her first single . it takes a good few years for them to realize they're written in the stars to be together . Over their career, they face hard times but together nothing is stopping them . Angie is a southern singer from rural Alabama she's head strong and spirituality strong . Prince is from Minneapolis he's charming, smart, intruiging and kind. They're goal together is to set the standards for the singers coming after them .

The may have the same profession, but completely different people with united souls. For the longest time, the have been trying to remain as just good friends until that became to much to bear and loving each other was the only way to make it better. They may have had a hard time figuring it out but it came together in the end. Here is the story of Patrice and Prince.

On April 21, 2016 the world lost an icon of the ages. This was just something I had put together to sum up how we as the Purple Army have been feeling since we lost our sweet Prince. As we continue to enjoy the legacy he left behind and keep him alive in our stories of the many personas of the man who paved the way for "weirdos" and "outside the box thinkers" we remind ourselves that at the end of the day he was immensely loved and will be sorely missed. If there wasn't a more fitting farewell speech for him this would be it. Thank you Prince for teaching us how to love and to cry. We only wish that you taught us how to live without you.

Yet, all I could do was study my shoes, the cracked pavement beneath them a map of my fragmented reality. The truth was, speaking about my mother felt like navigating a minefield of sorrow and anger, where the slightest misstep could unravel what little composure I managed to hold onto. I couldn't bring myself to meet his gaze, my eyes fixated on the cracked pavement beneath my feet. The truth was a heavy burden, one I had carried for far too long. "She's... the same," I murmured, the words tasting bitter on my tongue.
