Pushing Stories

A collection of pêle-mêle poetry that have been compiled from various emotional states and thoughts. It may be depressing, odd, horrifying, whimsical or joyful but it is all up to the reader to determine whether it is worth reading. Unlike it's counterpart Hidden in the Basement, Pushin' Up Daisies is currently unpublished and will remain unpublished until I deem it finished.

When Nina took a desk job at a non-human registration clinic she never imagined the sort of trouble she would get herself into. Now she's deeply involved in a life she's desperately trying to keep secret from her family.

I wrote these two years ago (April 10th, 2017) and just came back to them. Read and you won't be disappointed (Two poems)

Sometimes after going somewhere for so long, you become tired. Yet you have to keep going, until you reach your destination. ↘ For, pain is excruciating. It was never made to be "Easy." Sometimes there's no bridge to help you get over the ocean, and you have to just jump and control your breathing. Everyone has these drowning nightmares, so hope that you'll get out, even wounded and failing. These are my own stories and poems to help you delve through these murky waters, through soaring and diving. Enter the world of thoughts and feelings, and maybe it'll help you keep going also, hopefully with more peace in your inner being. Maybe then, you can remind yourself to push through and start living. ❤

Ned has the ability to bring the dead back to life for only a minute, before something else has to die, but if he touches something dead once more, they die permanently. Once Ned brings his childhood sweetheart back to life, his whole life is changed. A year later, things are changing even faster, for the better, and worse. A murder occurs at a place that brings up some not-so-happy memories for Ned, making the case harder to solve than they expected. ***DISCLAIMER: I would recommend watching Pushing Daisies S1 and S2 before reading, it will be much easier to understand. This will be a bit more serious compared to the TV show, but still have the feeling of it. I'm still figuring out a working title.
