Eleanor Thatcher, having a traumatic childhood experience, somehow manages to get herself out of the dark pit and into a bright place where she meets Ryan Ford, who is just as sweet to everyone as he appears but her. He is considered very charming and likeable. Eleanor, however doesn't pay attention to their relationship and focuses on her carrier but due to some reasons, she is now left with no choice but to live under the same roof as Ryan. She is a strong and independent woman who has built walls around her heart truly strong and high because of the fear of getting it broken and the trauma she experienced but she has slowly started to develop feelings for Ryan because of the change in his behaviour towards her and she hates it, she hates that she is slowly finding him likeable. She is afraid of receiving the treatment she is getting and hence, she decides to distance herself from Ryan.
However, her attraction towards him and her want for him keeps on growing but she lacks the audacity to accept the fact and confess. She is still unable to decide if Ryan is actually giving her a special treatment or a treatment he gives everyone as she has never experienced the type of bond she is experiencing currently with Ryan before.
She promised herself she won't let her emotions or heart fool her but again, the heart wants what it wants.
will her feelings be reciprocated?
will she finally experience something she deserves or will what she went through during her childhood come into existence again?
