A timeline has been corrupted, it creates a portal that leads to another timeline where the different and zombie heroes lives! in order to make sure Zomboss doesn't abuse this opportunity to rule the world, plant heroes have to close the portal before its too late!

His plan WAS brilliant! He just executed it COMPLETELY wrong! So he salvaged the remains of his machine and cobbled together a second version, and with that, the Elseworlds Conflict arose

(Just a quick notice: My portrayal of the plant and zombie heroes is nowhere near PvZH canon, nor any headcanons that you've probably seen. Don't get on me for the heroes being out of character, this is how I see them and what I find fun to write.)
